Happy Full Moon in Leo, Mr. Big Stuff!!

Greetings Fellow Metaphysicians!

There is a full moon on Saturday, January 23rd, 8:46 p.m., edt., in "larger-than-life" Leo the Lion!

This Lion will definitely be wanting to "strut his stuff", against the odds of frustration, along with his buddy Jupiter, who is teaming up with Pluto and Mercury, ironically.

Leos are loving, warm, fun, generous, kind, something that a full moon should love.  But Leo is not very comfortable with being in the moon right now, despite all the efforts of the big guys in the sky.  The Sun is in Aquarius, who is saying, "Dude.  Chill."  Not gonna happen.  Poor old Leo. You gotta have a little sympathy. If you know anyone with strong Leo in their chart, or a very prideful, fun-loving, "royal type of persona", (and heaven knows we do know a lot of them), we can be sure their pride, arrogance, and comfort level is being called to the stage. That's too bad, because they really are the nice guys of the zodiac.

But there is hope....more on that later.  About the romance part, well, thankfully, the girls (and guys), should be getting real, and not taking any more crap, right?  With Venus going newly into Capricorn, Jupiter and Pluto thinking they are "all that", it's time to "lay it on the line", peeps.  Venus in Capricorn says, "I deserve the best in everything.  If you don't step up and prove yourself, you can hit the road, because frankly, right now, it's my way or the highway.  Yeah.  So, Mr. Big Stuff.  Who do you think you are?"  And who says it better than Jean Knight in her infamous performance of Mr. Big Stuff!  (Notice the Jupiter/Pluto hairdo, that says it all.  See below for a 21st century version.)

Here is a run-down of what I think you need to know.

-The Full Moon in Leo says, "Let's have fun and party.  Now.  Darn it!"  While this is a challenge right now, it can happen, with Neptune's help.  Do something artistic and creative, and you will get your wish.

-Jupiter, who is hitchiking with the north node, is getting support from Pluto and Mercury Retrograde.  Go ahead and give your gusto a try.  It could happen.  Watch out for Mercury the trickster, though.  Just have fun where you can, but don't put too much faith into it.  Ok, Mr. Big Stuff?

-Venus in Capricorn says the ladies, (and the guys), should hold their heads high. Don't put up with crap from Mr. Big Stuff.  You deserve the best, right?

-Thankfully, thankfully, Neptune gives us all an outlet this time.  The Moon and Neptune will give us a secret opportunity to find something creative, artistic, and spiritual. You may have to dig to find it, but it's there.  Take advantage of it. This is one of the positive aspects here with this full moon.  Go to a play, a concert, a movie, a social event of artistic merit!  That is where you will find your satisfaction.  Dance, sing, and make merry!  Wear diamonds, shine like a star, hold your head high...

-But remember. Saturn is still challenging those dreamy goals.  Keep them earthbound, and use common sense.  Those new moon wishes from 2 weeks ago are showing their progress.  I see that as a positive aspect of this moon.

-Also, remember.  Full moons always have challenges.  Relationships will always be affected.  Sometimes fears and anger can enter into the mix.  This is a good time to release all that.  Challenging.  But good.

-Release your fears and anything you want to be gone.
-Put out your stones, crystals, oils, candles, and special things to be charged under the light of the moon.
-Spend time under the moon light with your magic wands!  Create your own personal incantation to draw in the magic of the moon.
-Start a bonfire, or a campfire.  Perfect for a Leo, fire sign, moon.
-This is a wolf moon and a Leo moon. Give extra care to the animals, especially the wild ones.  Honor the animals, the animal spirits, and the animal guides.  If possible, visit a wildlife sanctuary in the next week.  Donate to an animal charity.  "Get the animals off the plate, and back into the pasture,"  from the word of Kris Carr.

Here is a 20th century version of Jean Knight's Mr. Big Stuff.  Notice the toned down Pluto, but the integrity and confidence remain.  Crank it up girlfriends!!

Have a great full moon, Mr. Big Stuff!!
