New Moon in Libra, There's a star man waiting in the sky....

Greetings Fellow Metaphysicians!

We have a New Moon in Libra, on Friday, September 30th, at 8:10 p.m.

Now that I have your attention with the charming and attractive angel guy, it's time to get real!!

So why would I say if I'm looking for real, why would I look for an angel man?  Well, because THEY are real.  When I look at the moon and all the aspects presented, I see relationship scenarios.  After all, Libra does focus on relationships, ya know.  It seems pretty clear to me.  Venus (love and lust), Juno (who will I marry?), Lilith (hot and sexy crazy goddess), are in Scorpio.  These bodies all are in a very good aspect with spiritual Neptune.  Yes, Scorpio is physical.  Yes, Scorpio is intense.  Yes, Scorpio is carnal.  But is Scorpio spiritual?  You betcha!!  Who better to hook up with than a spiritually intense Scorpio Angel straight from Neptune and the outer cosmos?  Hence, we have the best advice I can give anyone on LOVE.  And who is better than the rest to bring all that mystical, Neptunian aura to a lusty, passionate, hot and heavy love relationship?  You guessed it!  Scorpio him/herself!!

However.  Enter the caveat.  The problem lies with the Neptunian situation with the Saturn square and/or delusional and detrimental fantasies.  Most humans are confused right now as to who really is their angel.  This moon is challenging you to choose and move on to a SPIRITUAL love relationship. A steady, solid, reliable, STABLE relationship.  The signs are crystal clear.  At the end of this important eclipse season, we have a clear message.  Choose spiritual love.

With the sun and the moon experiencing  inconjunctions with Neptune, there is a problem getting certain desires and/or obsessions off the ground.  With all the confusion going around lately, many humans are being misled by other humans.  What to do?  If something's not happening, there is a reason.  And it's a good one.  Seek reliable spiritual guidance.

 A spiritual person CAN be solid, stable, reliable, dependable, long term.  As a matter of fact, that's not such a bad idea, now is it?  Nothing wrong with the hot stuff, that's where Venus in Scorpio comes in, but honestly, how much better is that than with a stable, grounded, protective Saturnian soul? Think about it....

And these things do not apply to love only.  The message here is to stabilize your own personal spirituality, too.   Also, this is a good moon to enhance your spiritual business, your spiritual health regime, your spiritual environment, including home, office, property.  I might add that spiritual journeys, whether they be physical, or intellectual, would be blessed with this new moon.

This is a moon for artists, creators, metaphysicians!!  Bottom line is get real and "Get Spiritual".   Find yourself an angel buddy or lover.  Commit to a NEW journey.  Embark on an adventure that will free you from your own frustration.  A new moon is a time for new beginnings, and this moon is clearly... all that. And it is quite packed with opportunity, so long as you don't kid yourself.

You can set your intentions right away, as there is no void-of-course moon until October 2nd in the early morning hours.  Yes.  Set good goals for relationships.  But the best relationship is with yourself.  Not only is Libra about relationships, but it's also an air sign, and it's a sign about balance.  Balance your spiritual life with your carnal life.  That's the way to figure this one.

Full Moon & Lunar Eclipse in Pisces, Wake me up inside

 Welcome to the Full Moon & Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on Friday, September 16th, at 3:05 p.m., edt.

During a lunar eclipse, the moon hides behind the shadow of the earth for a time.  We have a great opportunity to visit the darkness of our souls, for healing, transformation, enlightenment.  Try not to feel fear, as this is just a trick of the shadow.  As the eclipse passes, the fear is set free, as is your soul.




I usually search for songs that reflect the mood and meaning of every moon. There are times when it hits the nail on the head, so to speak.  Often the aspects of a moon are so complicated and ultra layered, it sometimes seem so counterproductive to go on and on and on, getting lost in the metaphysical realm of it all....sometimes, that is.  In this case, there is a need to conceptualize and step into the aura of a mystical moon.

 Enter Pisces.....

The Pisces energy is in full bloom here.  There is an opportunity to expand metaphysically, spiritually, artistically, creatively.  However, there are many challenging aspects.   It is a moon to remember.  With conjunctions, oppositions, and squaring  of planets in Virgo and Libra, the challenge is to restore balance, virtue, healing, and acceptance in relationships, spiritually.  Much of this is happening in a very intense, deep, spiritual, and philosophical location on the astrological wheel.    As the Sun will be moving into Libra, and Jupiter is there now, focus on finding a helper for this moon, a spiritual helper that is.  It can be a live person, your angels, your faeries, your spirit guides...the list is endless.


On the heels of a powerful Solar Eclipse in Virgo, as well as four years of heavy handed purging and transforming, this eclipse will shake you to wake you.  Mars and Uranus will jolt you whether you want it or not. You will be confronted with the deeper meaning of your existence, as it applies to your personal life, your relationships, your soul's journey, and last but not least, your contribution to the universe.  Those tender new moon intentions set so many consecutive moons ago have come full circle to reveal their unfolding.

Now is the time to assess what you must realize as the next phase on your journey.  Ironically, Pluto is in a position to assist you in the commencement of this.  The nagging squares, especially between poor old Neptune, the grandfather of ideality and beautiful illusion, is seriously trying to wake us up, much to the dismay of confused or deluded souls.  See where the Pisces moon is in your personal chart and meditate on that area of being.  Pisces is very watery, and all watery connections work very well with earthy Virgo, who needs that moisture and enrichment.

There is a secret aspect to this chart.  Somewhere, somehow, there will be hidden talents revealed.  The results of this moon will manifest geniuses, artists, seers, and mystics.  Could it be you?  Pluto will help with this, going into the shadows to search in the hidden depths.



So what is a soul to do with this Pisces moon energy?

-Nurture your soul with art, music, creativity, spirituality,  and the search for enlightenment.
-Engage in water activities.  Swim under the moonlight, take a moon bath, water the earth, walk in the rain.
-Pamper yourself with a spa treatment, reiki, meditation, water therapy.
-Pray, bless, and give thanks.
-Offer service to the disadvantaged, the downtrodden, the sick, the abandoned.
-Bless the metaphysical beings and the animals.
-Be alone, care for yourself, go within.
-Place your crystals, trinkets, photos, special things under the moonlight for cleansing and energizing.
-Heal thyself.
-Be honest with your soul.
-Rest, dream, take care.

The energy will last quite a while from this moon.  Be careful.  Be well.

Go placidly amid the noise and haste....Solar Eclipse & New Moon

Greetings Fellow Metaphysicians!

We have a Solar Eclipse and New Moon in Virgo, on Thursday, September 1st, at 5:03 a.m., edt.

This is the beginning of eclipse season.  A solar eclipse, physically, means the Moon will block out the Sun briefly.  Metaphysically, the spiritual moon hides the light, or the ego, or the truth as we perceive it.  We may experience confusion, doubt, fearfulness, "blindness", which ultimately results to a greater awareness, an enlightened reality.  It is also a time for "tough love".  It sets in motion a renewed path or journey, sometimes different than what we expected.  The eclipse effects last for months.  It is an extremely dramatic phenomenon that has proven to be quite transforming in human lives.  For example, it is believed the death of Jesus Christ occurred at a solar eclipse.  It is believed Einstein's Theory of Relativity was confirmed at a solar eclipse.  All of us can look back at certain eclipses in our lives and pinpoint dramatic events, to be sure.

Not only is it the Solar Eclipse, but it is also the New Moon!  New moons are a time to start fresh on new projects or renew old projects or goals in our lives.  Because of Mercury retrograde, this of course will be pronounced.  Everything will need to be re-done.  Well, almost everything.

There is an extremely tense square aspect happening that will lead to the need for patience and awareness.  Of course, there are amazing aspects, as well, that allow for excellent opportunities to pursue humanitarian causes, spiritual journeys, karmic rewards, and a renewed awakening to the justices of personal enlightenment and global evolution.   With Virgo richly activated, cleansing the personal psyche and physical body are highly encouraged, as well as being of service to those that could use our help!!

The complicated aspects of this moon offer many suggestions for coping and/or jumpstarting your eclipse season...

-Relationships may be tense or strained, so proceed with caution.  Be careful before you commit.
-I wouldn't make any major decisions or engage in any transactions regarding home and property unless you absolutely must.
-Don't believe everything you hear (or see), especially in matters of the heart.
-Allow transformation as a result of intense purging, due to the placements of  Mars, Saturn, Neptune, the Moon, and the Sun.   I know, right?  By the way, Pluto is encouraging all this, so here's hoping. After all, it is meant to be for the good.
-It is a very good time for PLANNING travel.  (I wouldn't get on a plane right now unless you have to, though, at least until some time goes by.)
-However it IS a good time for studying, philosophizing, getting involved in religious or spiritual pursuits.
-Ironically, this is a great time to polish up improvements in any home business you may have.  Entrepreneurs, businesses of healing, service, comfort, etc. can flourish with fresh ideas and clean ups.
-The North Node is very close to the Moon and Sun, so this can, again, be very intense, karmically.  It all depends on where it lands in your personal chart.

You can set your intentions and activate your New Moon/Eclipse ritual right after the New Moon becomes exact, but you can also wait for the energy to settle, and re-do it on September 3rd.  Of course avoid "void-of-course" moons, especially for this eclipse.  Lay low, stick to yourself, go about your business of cleansing and re-newing quietly.  Over the weeks, it will make sense.  There are good things to come.

Of course, with this earthy energy, it is perfect for cleaning up in nature, working in the garden, tending to plant and animal life.  Starting a new exercise program is a great idea, as well as going to the spa.  Get an Angel treatment or a Reiki treatment.  Meditate and do yoga!!  These things can work magic for the healing of soul and body.

Although idealism is a good and right concept to pursue, one must also beware of disenchantment.  However, always keep the faith, because it is still a "beautiful world".

Full Moon in Aquarius, Let The Sunshine In!

Greetings Fellow Metaphysicians!          

Hello, and welcome to the preview to eclipse season.  This is a near miss lunar eclipse and an extremely bold and brazen Full Moon in Aquarius, on Thursday, August 18th, at 5:26 a.m., edt.

The Moon in Aquarius boldly presents an opposition to the Sun in Leo.  The ego, self-love, showmanship, pride, and a sense of individual entitlement, will confront the need to merge with the needs and concerns of community, relationships, the world, and the universe.  Yes.  The.  Universe.  This is a time to look out for the evolution of humanity and the unknown vastness of  creation...if you dare.  The challenge of spirituality merging with metaphysicality and humanness is knocking at your door.  Take all your issues at heart and blend them with the big picture of your life.

Where are you going?  Why are you going?  How can you help?  What is the bigger picture of your life?  For months, and years, we have been dealing with massive personal and universal challenges and changes on a personal level.  You may have it figured out by now.  If so, let's pay it forward.  The ego of  the Sun in Leo the Lion really does have a big heart, you know.  Aquarius, the sign of impersonal progression at a human level, in a very lunar placement,  challenges us to step up with all that bravado and make a difference in the big picture.  Yes.  I know.  What about me?  You may be saying....  This time let's take a break from "me" and see how we can assist those other souls and beings out there in the world and the cosmos.

This is a great opportunity.  This is a significant challenge.  Full moons always give us an emotional challenge.  Eclipses always trigger insecurities and shadows.  With a few tough aspects to this moon, as well as some amazing opportunities, we can let the sun shine through to brighten up that glow of the Aquarius moon.

Be a leader (Leo) in a revolution (Aquarius) of bringing energy (Uranus) and light (Sun) into the darkness of the world and your community.  You don't have to do much.

Brilliant New Moon in Leo, Good Day Sunshine!

Greetings Fellow Metaphysicians!

There will be a New Moon in Leo, on Tuesday, August 2nd, at 4:43:55 p.m., edt.  With the Sun and Moon both in Leo, this will be a dramatic and brilliant energy to kick off the cycle. There are so many good things about this  New Moon.

With Leo taking center stage, there will be fun, drama, slap-happy entertainment, antics galore, showmanship, over-the-top theatricality, and just good old-fashioned solid friendship.  Also, there will be plenty of hopeful dreams and wishes, love, happiness, caring, sharing, and giving. Leo is also a very "royal" sign, allowing for majesty, glamour, and center stage.

The only thing to watch out for, of course, as we know, is getting so far lost in dreamland or party city, that we can't seem to find our way back. This wonderful configuration of the sun and moon has an element of caution in aspect to Neptune.  Keep your feet on the ground (Saturn), be careful to not drift away to "never-never land" (Neptune).  If you can do this with the party boy Leo in action, you will be just fine.  You should be able to enjoy it all.

Love and romance can be very exciting, just be careful not to ignite the Mars in the mix.  You don't want fights and brawls to ruin this very good energy.  Although, with Mars leaving Scorpio, it's easier to accomplish that feat.  Jupiter will want to go on an adventure far and wide, and has no problem allowing Leo to be the ringmaster. Definitely find a Leo to hook up with.  Someone with a Leo Sun, Rising, or Moon, or prominent Leo in their chart.  I, myself, have a Leo Rising, and I know for a fact I will be a blast to hang around with.  (Leos are also known for their pride and vanity!)

Remember the moon is very spiritual and mystical, as you know, and Leo loves the Sun.  Of course, this can make for a very rare, glowing, glistening cycle for this moon.

A glow party or date is in order.  That would be the perfect mix.  Pluto has to, of course, get in on everything, and so he does. He looks semi-cooperative, for now, but be oh-so-careful.  There's an element of internal explosion, if not handled with care.  Mercury is looking for mischief and trouble, so avoid any hints of mis-communications involving emotions, speech, and/or social media.

This New Moon is definitely ripe for setting bold and wishful intentions, especially rock solid, long standing, "forever" type dreams and goals.  You can continue on with the tried and true past missions, or create new dreams with the fiery and optimistic Leo energy.  You can set your intentions right away when the moon becomes exact.  Write them down, recite, rehearse, and play them out with the theatrical and fiery energy of  Leo.

Full Moon in Capricorn, We Are The Champions!

The Full Moon in Capricorn will be exact on Tuesday, July 19th, at 6:56:38 p.m., edt.

This is always a perplexing opposition between the Moon and the Sun, with the Moon in Capricorn, and the Sun in Cancer.  It's like staring at yourself from across the room and seeing in yourself all the things you should be and have, not sure if you do want them, and knowing you feel the strong urge to reach toward those things.  Almost like an alternate self.  An opposite self.  Like if you could only reach out and grab those things, you would be utterly complete.  But you kinda don't want to because you don't want to go through all that.  You just want to have and be what you want, and that's that. You know what I mean?

With Capricorn and Cancer it's even more pronounced. We see reflected what we don't necessarily want to admit to.  The Moon is very watery and more comfortable in Cancer.  But here we have the opposite. The moon in earthy Capricorn is causing us to assess our situations from the practical, solid, realistic vantage point with a touch of spirituality, metaphysicality, dare I say "emotion".  The Moon, being watery, mystical, magical, spiritual, astrologically and cosmically....is also a physical, massive, rock solid ball of intense matter suspended conveniently close to the earth.  The Sun, our shining beacon of truth and glorious life force, propels us forward always striving to move toward our life purpose.

So what am I saying here?  The Moon and Sun this time around wants what's best for our souls.  You can be a soaring giant of a soul (Capricorn), and also absorb the mysterious and spiritual essence of your being (Cancer), on your journey to explore, enjoy, and manifest your life's purpose.  Mars (that obnoxious dickens who caused so much trouble recently) and Jupiter (the court jester come forth to offer entertainment and relief and assistance) are major players in this Moon's drama.  I see Mercury and Venus (already both moved into theatrical Leo) as supporting actors in this quest for unfolding excellence.  Back up your love relationships with solid practicality, as well as romantic sensibility.  Be careful and watchful with actions, emotions, and relationships, as Uranus is ready to strike at any given moment.  There is a possiblilty of it not being a pretty sight.   I'm just saying.

So.  This is an extremely complicated set up with criss-crossy aspects in place.  The intentions of the last New Moon, and of course looking back on the previous succession of moons and eclipses has brought us to a powerful place of  accountability.  Have you balanced out your lofty, confident, earthly ambitions with your spirit, your mystical essence?  Have you devised a plan for a rich, deep, fulfilling spiritual life, as well as your goals and aspirations for your practical earthly life?

Full Moons are a time to take stock and receive the benefits of all your hard work, and to review your past actions.  Karma doth come to call...  We have come full circle since those tough past moon cycles and eclipses, to know where we stand.  It hasn't been easy.  But it's not over yet.  I thought Freddy Mercury says it best...click to hear.

For this full moon, you will want to shed your skin of the earthly obstacles that have held you back spiritually.  Use your intuition and metaphysical skills to tread that journey you have set up for yourself.  Give thanks for how far you have come.

A famous Greek poet wrote a poem called Ithaka.  It's about a journey to the exquisite island of Ithaka, the setting of a Greek play, "The Odyssey".  It also actually exists as a pristine paradise island situated in the middle of the Ionian Sea, just off the coast of Greece.  In the poem, the author exclaims how to enjoy the lavish journey, as well as the destination.  I believe the message of this moon relates to the story.  Set out for your destination, but enjoy the journey.  Click on this link to read the full poem.   http://www.cavafy.com/poems/content.asp?cat=1&id=74

New Moon in Watery Cancer, Moonlight Feels Right....

Greetings Fellow Metaphysicians!


There is a New Moon in Cancer on Monday, July 4th, at 7:01:53 a.m., edt.









It is a very, very watery moon with depth of emotion and spirituality.  It is forming a massive stellium in multiple planets with watery signs, landing smack dab in the middle of a very spiritual, loving, sympathetic and empathic location.

Now is the time to get spiritual.  Now is the time to get creative.  Now is the time to get passionate. Now is the time to care deeply for the underdogs and the abandoned souls.  Now is the time to love and give thanks for home, family, and friends.

Mercury (the messenger), the Moon (emotion, psyche, spirituality), the Sun (life force, ego, projection), Venus (love, luxury, beauty), are all miraculously and with aplomb, forming a tight bond to usher in the new energy of grace and redemption.  Mars retrograde has left the building. Thank You, God...  The angst and terror of the past few months have left many souls damaged and gasping.   Venus is craving passion, ecstasy, and joy.  The Moon is offering solace, comfort, familial bonding, and spiritual depth.  Neptune is offering escape through beauty, art, creativity, fantasy.  Pluto is challening all this with a triple-dog dare.  In the words of Elizabeth Barret Browning (a watery Pisces, born on my birthday), the soul cries out with passion.

Most of the planets are eager to offer energy of relief for our battered souls, if at least for a season. There is a grand trine that will, at first, expose wounds and hurts, but can ultimately lead to healing, peace, and absolution.  Saturn will challenge us, and rightly so, to get all these things right, once and for all.  No more messing around.  The Saturn/Neptune square has so much potential.  Try not to think of it as your dream world crashing down around you.  Think of it as getting your dream world right.  Solid.  Stable.   Real.  Healthy.  Honest.  True.  The deceipt that belies this configuration is downright astonishing.  It need not be so, in the end.  Be honest with yourself.  Be honest with others.   Dreams and fantasies can be fantastical....but also dangerous, in the wrong context.  This moon offers the chance to clear the psychological clutter to see what is really there.  In the end, it's going to happen anyway.....

The New Moon is a time to set new goals, intentions, dreams.  Make a plan.  Seek out Jupiter to guide you on your path.  Give thanks to God, the author and finisher of our faith, for all this cosmological insight.  Imagine it.  Dream it.  Think it.  Do it.  But without harm or deceipt to others.


This ultra watery moon calls for some nights of bathing in the sea, under the stars, under the dark moon, diving for mermaids and faeries.  Experience the cleansing of this energy, the washing away of the psychic soot.  It's time to seek your spiritual guides, your loved ones who have passed on, and to care for the animals.  The animals, great and small, have suffered tremendously under this Mars retrograde period.   Those souls with serious health problems have suffered tremendously.

As a Pisces with a dignified natal Moon in Cancer, I feel confident (Leo rising) in giving you advice for this moon.

What can you do at this new moon?

-Meditate, pray, give thanks, for all your blessings known or unknown.

-Care for your body through gentle, spiritual actions.  Meditation, reiki, angel therapy, yoga, are all good for this energy.
-Seek out and nurture your beloved ones.
-Drink healthy water and liquids.
-Avoid over medicating and/or drugs and alcohol.
-Avoid dangerous escapism.
-Honor your family, children, descendants.
-Create beauty, art, poetry, music.
-Search your soul for truth.
-Set your intentions right away until July 5th at 2:29 a.m. when the moon is void.
